About Me

I was born and raised in Vancouver, on the west coast of Canada. Growing up, I fell in love with the sky, trees, mountains, and ocean that made up my home.

The 1916 poem by Robert Frost “The Road Not Taken” has been my maxim since my teens. I have always tried to take the path less travelled that “wanted wear”. Trails and paths tend to be featured in my paintings, both literally and figuratively.

My husband Bill and our four children, enjoy our second home (where my studio is located) in Gambier Harbour, on Gambier Island, in British Columbia Canada’s Howe Sound. The land, water and community inspire me and my art.

“I took the (path) less traveled by, And that has made all the difference."
